Symcor Launches Policy Assist Central to Streamline Insurance Policy Communications
Symcor, a leading Canadian B2B solutions provider that enables secure data exchanges, launched Policy Assist Central to digitize the delivery of industry-regulated communications and help its clients streamline insurance policy processes. Policy Assist Central is the latest addition to Symcor’s COR.CCX suite of end-to-end communication management solutions.
Federal and provincial regulations require insurance companies to communicate all policy changes to lenders. These communications are typically sent via mail and incur substantial costs for printing and postage. Current processes are labour intensive and contribute significantly to an organization's carbon footprint. It is estimated that the country’s largest insurers deliver tens of thousands of policy change letters on a monthly basis.
“All stakeholders come out ahead with Policy Assist Central,” explains Murali Dorai, VP of Product Management at Symcor. “Insurance companies can realize cost savings; lenders can better control their customer communications; and we can all play a part in reducing our carbon footprint.”
Policy Assist Central digitizes insurance policy change communications and stores them within a secure web portal for lenders to access and download. The web portal facilitates the ability to audit and trace these policy change documents to mitigate risk to lenders.
“Our clients trust us to help them build stronger relationships with their customers through efficient and timely communications,” says Mr. Dorai. “We have earned a reputation of excellence by providing value-added services to help organizations thrive and compete by connecting for common good.”
